I don’t know what it is about a canopy bed, but every time I walk into a hotel, and there’s one of these beauties waiting, my trip improves by about 100%, a bedroom is very important to your well-being and peace of mind. It’s just so romantic and dreamy… you can’t help but love them. I’ve been looking for the right style for my guest bedroom for ages, so here’s a few of my inspirational pictures…

These lovely french wrought iron beds make a guest bedroom a memorable escape.
This must be one of my all time favourite bedrooms with two double heavily carved indian beds. The different textures in neutral shades really complement each other.

This stunning bedroom makes up in stylish design what it lacks in square footage. Designer Lori Dennis coordinated a striped canopy with chocolate-brown bedding for a feeling of enclosure and elegance.
Even outside, I love 4-posters!
